Happy Friday!! Whew — it’s been a busy week — but we are so excited for this weekend because our puppy comes home tomorrow!! I will introduce him on Monday 🙂 Have an amazing weekend!
Here’s what made my everyday extraordinary this week — would love to hear about your favorites in the comments!
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. This came out a few years(?) ago, I believe, but we just watched it this weekend — it’s delightfully funny and creative with amazing scenery. Definitely recommend for your next movie night!
Sozo’s Children’s Choir. This group came to our church last weekend. They were awesome!! It’s a group from Uganda who is touring in the United States right now. For more information on this incredible ministry, you can check out their website.
Strawberries & Cream (AKA our favorite dessert). This definitely made my everyday extraordinary to come home and eat this deliciousness for dessert after a long day of work! Tastes like summertime.
Our Newly Organized Garage. My husband worked diligently this past weekend to get our garage shipshape. It looks great and adds to the feeling of finally sorta kinda feeling settled in here in NC.
Sunshine & Warm Temperatures. For the few days this week I wasn’t working in the hospital all day long, I was so excited for the warm, balmy sunshine that graced us with seventy degree days. Ahhhh. Spring, we are ready for you!!
A young, promising surgeon’s question when diagnosed with advanced lung cancer — “How Long Have I Got Left?”
Beautiful words on “Why I Write.”
Spring is coming — both in the calendar year and in life — Winter’s End.
Yummy Link of the Week: My all time favorite Banana Bread recipe, which I need to utilize ASAP for the brown bananas on my kitchen counter.
As always, thanks for reading, and have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
